Directions arriving Puerto Viejo:
From the main entrance of Puerto Viejo, on the main road, 600 meters (1/3 of a mile) heading south on the right-hand side.

Directions from San Jose:
Take the Route 32 road through Zurqui and Guapiles until you reach Puerto Limon (one straight road from San Jose takes you directly to Puerto Limon), upon arrival to Limon follow the sign to Puerto Viejo indicating a right turn (the only turn you'll make on this trip). After the right turn you should be parallel to the coast and are approximately 1 hour away from Puerto Viejo.
Travel duration approximately: 4 1/2 hours.
